چکیده

Subsurface mapping of the distribution reservoir is essential to be conducted in order minimize many risks such as financial losses and also increase profit from hydrocarbon production. This research was on Jatibarang conglomerate Melandong Field, North West Java Basin, Indonesia. There are three objectives this study which perform elastic impedance (EI) seismic inversion using available 3D data, determine most suitable angle for map spatiotemporal Formation field, basin, EI selected ranging near stack (5º-15º) far (20º-30º). Results show that can help detecting lithology within target zone. Angle 5º considered best studied data indicated by a correlation value 0.65. Moreover, angles 15º 10º less reliable shown their 0.6 0.56, respectively. These results expected provide some new insights into reservoir, exploration, exploitation, development oil gas fields

A history of Floral diversity (pollen, spores and algal) during the latest Holocene in the Bandung basin based on palynological analysis in Cihideung, West Java, Indonesia

Floral diversity is a measure of number of type flora in an area, and reflects how vegetation develops in response to the environmental condition during a certain time interval. The present study aims to examine changes in the diversity of vegetation (pollen, spores and algae), evenness, and similarity in the Bandung Basin through a core of 240 cm depth using a ground drill, as well as  the ...

Subsurface Hydrothermal Alteration in the Kamojang Geothermal Field, West Java, Indonesia

The presently vapor-dominated Kamojang geothermal field is located in West Java (Indonesia). The field lies in high terrain, 1500 m above sea level, and is hosted by volcanic rocks. Samples from seven wells were kindly made available for this study, namely from KMJ-7, KMJ-10, KMJ-11, KMJ12, KMJ-53, KMJ-59, and CHR-1 drilled to depths ranging from 536 – 1804 m. The reservoir is hosted by interbe...

Fluorescein and Naphthalene Sulfonate Liquid Tracer Results at the Awibengkok Geothermal Field, West Java, Indonesia

An extensive program of tracer tests has been carried out to monitor the performance of the production/injection scheme in the Awibengkok geothermal field. Initially, tests using fluorescein dye were conducted in almost all of the 20 wells used as injectors. These tests yielded excellent data detailing the timing and direction of injectate flow, indicating strong lateral permeability and depth ...

Molecular surveillance of Dengue in Sukabumi, West Java province, Indonesia.

INTRODUCTION Dengue is endemic and affects people in all Indonesian provinces. Increasing dengue cases have been observed every year in Sukabumi in West Java province. Despite the endemicity, limited data is available on the genetic of dengue viruses (DENV) circulating in the country. To understand the dynamics of dengue disease, we performed molecular and serological surveillance of dengue in ...

Source of Cement in the Great Oolite Reservoir, Storrington Oil Field, Weald Basin, South of England

The source of cement in oilfields is critical to the prediction of the distribution of cements in the reservoirs and also prediction of reservoir quality. The source of mineral forming cements has been determined for the Storrington oolitic carbonate reservoir (Middle Jurassic Great Oolite Formation, Weald Basin, onshore UK) using a combination of petrography, electron microscopy, fluid inclusi...
